The reason for this song to be written is that, My self and a guy called Hasitha Lakmal was invited by Pramod Wattegedara - (Founder President of Rotaract Club of Badulla) as best men for his wedding with his beautiful girl friend Malithi Sashi who is also from Uva Wellassa University. As her boy friend, Malithi akka was the second president of Rotaract Badulla. And the love was from the university period.
As the poem states;
"Bride is from Matale - Sri Lanka and groom is from Kandy - Sri Lanka. And They are about to marry. I am one of the best men and single my self get to hear the news that a bridesmaid is younger than me. Then the poet deciding to let all suffer away and to make it to the bridesmaid.
Epilogue is that, the bride - Malithi akka comment on my facebook status and say "that's my sister" - Holy Shit! :-P
