Uva Traveller - (2016 Magazine)

"Uva Traveller" is the annual magazine prepared by the 3rd year Hospitality, Tourism & Events Management undergraduates of Uva Wellassa University of Sri Lanka as a part of their course work.

The magazine for the year 2016 was prepared by the 2012/13 Batch and has absolutely new approach to discover the hidden wonders around Uva Province - Sri Lanka.

With the coordination of Gayan Kasthuri - Degree representative for the year 2016 and Chief Editor Mohomad Razim, the project - magazine was delivered to Mr. Jagath Kulathilake, the course coordinator and a Lecturer of Uva Wellassa University.

The article Nil Diya Pokuna Expedition by Dhanusha Dissanayake was featured on this magazine. Also he was one of the content editors for this magazine.

New Year's Eve 2016

It's been a while since I got an opportunity to upload something on the blog. (Well, I didn't just because I was lazy enough to ignore. LOL 😂)

Anyway, last night was great. Being the very end of the year, 31st December, for the 3rd consecutive time, I could not be at home for this new year eve too. Also, this is being in the last semester as third years of the university and hopefully not by next time, I can have this great time.

Spending day at boarding with some studies and movie stuff, I got out of boarding at 11.00 pm. Meeting Asantha (Psy-Ka), my best buddy at university, we stepped into the university with another bunch including Maduranga (Malaa).

It was not all about singing as usual. A big bunch was already there singing at "Balumgala" and another bunch of first years at the Cafeteria. Ticked to 11.50 and everyone gathered near Balumgala and that was where the Fireworks started. It was all over the girls hostels till the Batch representatives asked the bunch not to "put 'em inside". 😉
