So It was a Start of a New Beginning....
Representing Rotaract Club of Badulla, as the president, my self and as a proxy to the secretory, Rtr. Shashika Karunarathne (aka Taaniya-UWU/ Saakiya-PETSET) and Rtr. Alex Gayan Ranasinghe participated for the President Elect & Secretary Elect Training Seminar.
With the theme of "Vision to Action", the program consisted a variety of programs in order to develop the leadership skills of the Rotaract Leaders for the coming year 2016/17.
The Event was jointly organized by the Rotaract Clubs of Centennial United and Excellence College of Management.
A very special feature in that seminar was the two representatives of Rotaract Club of Male, Maldives.
Remarkably after two years, we (Rotaract Badulla) were able to bid for few projects including;
- DCM August '16 (jointly with Kurunegala & Ibbagamuwa)
- Project Serve May'17 (jointly with Kurunegala)
- Also the club will jointly work for the games - Basket ball & Martial Arts.
PET SET 2016/17 - held for two days - 14th and 15th May 2016 @ Tangerine Hotel, Wadduwa, Kaluthara North enabling our club to make better connections with rotaractors all around the district 3220 - Sri Lanka & Maldives.
